Formulaic "retro" synth work and misplaced juxtaposition regarding the samples. The rim shot sample feels like it's taking center stage on a rather cinematic string section while your square wave "leads" attempt to evoke notions of nostalgia. Honestly, the notes are well placed and hold a rather nice tune within the composition. It's just the fact that it all sounds quite cheap. Perhaps look into leveling and mastering a touch and pick up some sample packs designed for what you wish to produce. The drums toward the end of the work are unnecessary and totally jarring.

Okay! =D

Pretty fancy smashed drum work on this one. I'm a big fan of smashed sounds. Well done on the whole composition coming from an old Angerfist fan!

Cheese synths, the vocals are nice at the end though.

Isn't trap music 808% cheese? Anyway I'll stick with trance more often, thanks for reviewing! :)

Interesting use of samples but the lead saw needs a little work. Look into mixing and mastering for your next piece.

Tarteviant responds:

Thanks appreciate the feedback :)

I feel like the composition draws influence from Jeremy Soule's works in regards to the work with the choir. What stands out to me as most entrancing is the subtle flute melody nestled ever so nicely in the rear of the mix. It's a piece that captures the imagination and asks a bit more of the listener to really dig into what contributes to the atmosphere as a whole.
